This 10,5 x 14,8 cm piece was created on Hahnemühle cold-pressed watercolour paper (230 gsm) using Sakura Koi watercolours and outlined in Platinum Carbon Ink. It was inspired by a bout of homesickeness for the Eastern Cape, Makhanda (formerly, Grahamstown) in particular. Aloe Vera are a common and delightfully vibrant occurance in this province of South Africa.
